Certified by Standard-setting Bodies of the Industry

Water Cleanup Experts

Over the years, we’ve applied our company principles to meet high standards. In the pursuit of that, we’ve acquired various certifications, both for the company as a whole, and for our individual staff members.

Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration

This standards-setting body, commonly called the IICRC, has done a fantastic job of certifying companies and individuals across the country to properly mitigate water damage. At Water Cleanup Experts, we are firm supporters of their mission and comply with their standards, because we have tested IICRC principles for proven effectiveness in the field with great success.

Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)

  • This certification comes after graduating from the respective IICRC courses. The WRT equips our technicians with the knowledge and skills that they need to know about a water damaged property. Humidity and its relationship to living spaces is studied. Technicians learn how to monitor moisture within given areas and materials, and they learn how to develop drying goals for each scenario.

Applied Structural Drying (ASD)

  • Also from the IICRC, this course describes the process of effective drying. Since the most important part of restoration is to remove all unwanted moisture from an area, the ASD course material is consistently referenced in our day-to-day activities. Technicians learn about and even get hands-on experience with various drying equipment technologies before going out into the field.
